A: It is very unlikely or unusual that favorites/bookmarks get lost. If you think you do encounter this issue, don't panic.
If you are using Maxthon4 or earlier versions, you can go to http://fav.maxthon.com/, log in your Maxthon account to access the online backup of all your favorites/bookmarks.
If you upgrade to MX5 from MX4 and you see less favorites/bookmarks after MX5 finishes data import from MX4, it is because MX5 automatically removed duplicate favorites/bookmarks.
If you prefer having the exact same favorites/bookmarks, you can export your favorites/bookmarks to an HTML file in MX4 and then import this HTML file into MX5.
If you installed MX5 and add favorites, then return to MX4, your new favorites added on MX5 won't be synced to MX4 because they use different data structure. To help you move these favorites to MX4, we are building export feature for MX5 which allows you to export all favorites on MX5 to an HTML file. Then you can import this HTML file into MX4.
